***** Director Florian Froschmayer tells a highly visual story. The atmospheric movie excels as a family drama and as a psycho-study.

(Thumbs up) Intimate, psychologically sophisticated drama – TV Spielfilm

Murder of a child - always a delicate subject for a crime film. Rarely has it been approached so intelligently, so compassionately, so cleverly as in this new film from Kiel. – tatort-fundus.de

Awards: Axel Milberg was nominated for the German Television Award for Best Actor, Fabian Hinrichs was nominated for the German Television Award for Best Supporting Actor

Borowski must tell Nadine Nowack that her daughter Michelle is dead. She was suffocated with her jacket. The body of the eight-year-old girl is covered in hematomas. The child's autopsy reveals Michelle had already been inflicted with several injuries. Some of which had already healed before her death. Did the parents of little Michelle have something to do with her death?
