The raid ends in a fiasco: a policewoman is shot dead, arms dealer Meiners first escapes to Switzerland but gets arrested there. During the transfer to Germany, Klara and her Swiss colleague are ambushed. They escape and wander through the winterly border area with the prisoner on the run of his fellow accomplices.
